Our Story

History:

A wholesale distributor for Anheuser-Busch beers and specialty beverages, Bernie Little Distributing services a large region of north-central Florida from its facility in Ocala.  Since acquiring exclusive rights to sell the family of Anheuser-Busch beers in 1997, the company's sales have ballooned, almost doubling in its first ten years.  In 2007, the company sold well over 5 million cases within its territory, and today commands almost 70% share of market.  The company's beverage portfolio has expanded to offer more than three hundred and fifty brands, led by the number one beer in America, Bud Light.   Additionally, the company distributes the high-volume brand families Michelob Ultra, Busch, and Natural.  In the first ten years since its formation, the company was the fastest growing Anheuser-Busch distributor in the state, employing over one hundred people, all working to satisfy thirsts throughout the region.

Imported and craft/specialty beers have become increasingly popular over the past several years, and have led the company’s portfolio expansion.  Most notably, in October 2010, the company acquired the rights to Yuengling Lager.  Dubbed as the Oldest Brewery in America, D.G. Yuengling & Son’s flagship beer leads a high quality portfolio of lagers and ales.  In addition, an extensive line of brands were recently acquired, including: Genesee, Seagram’s Coolers, Spaten, Victory, and Carib.

The company also distributes a variety of non-alcoholic beverages to its retail customers, including, Arizona Teas, Team Real Tree Energy, Boylan Sodas, Nestle Chilled Beverages and Water, Taste of Florida Mixers, Mountain Valley Spring Water and Icelandic Glacial Water. 

Ownership:
Bernie Little Distributing, LLC is wholly owned by Bernie Little Beverages, LLC.  Bernie Little Beverages, LLC is owned by Bernard Little, Jr. and Kenneth Daley.

The Bernie Little Family is the largest wholesaler of Anheuser-Busch / InBev products in the the State of Florida and therefore one of the largest in the country.
